Seasons...

I have three rhododendrons in my yard.
One is thriving—full of bright blooms and energy.

One is doing just fine—steady, quiet, and growing.

And one is struggling—sparse, tired, clearly having a hard time.

Same plant.
Same yard.
Same sunlight and rain.
Each one showing up exactly as it is.
It struck me how easy it is to admire the one that’s flourishing… and then turn inward and wonder, “Why am I not doing that well?”
But we are like these plants. We have seasons.
Some are bold and blooming.
Some are slow, steady, and healing.
Some are quiet seasons—meant for rest, reflection, or simply surviving.
🌿 Your worth doesn’t depend on how you look or how fast you grow.Every season matters. Every phase is part of the story.
What season are you in right now?
Can you meet yourself with the same compassion you'd offer a struggling plant?
You don’t have to bloom to be growing. 💚
