As we enter 2026, let's try something different... Let's DO less.


Let's do less worrying, less overscheduling, less criticizing ourselves and others, less "should"ing on ourselves. I should fold the laundry, I should lose weight, you get the idea...


Let's focus more on self-reflection. Check in with ourselves to ensure we're on the right path. Verify that we are living this incredible life with intention, not by default. Time will pass regardless, so it's important to listen to ourselves and ask questions like "What is going well for me right now?" or "What can I do to experience more joy?" or "Why do I drink alcohol?" Is it merely a habit? Do I believe I deserve a drink after a long day? Consider how you feel upon waking and how you sleep after a night of drinking. What do you notice? Is everything exactly how you want it to be? For me I was drinking to celebrate a great day! I was rewarding myself with a poor night sleep and starting off the next day harder because I was hung-over. I then realized I was not the problem, I was not weak or broken. Alcohol is advertised as something fun and relaxing! Something the cool people do to relax, to gain confidence to speak to the other cool people. But is that true? Let's take some time to reflect on what was awesome in 2025! And let's look at what we want to do less of this year,
