Outside, the snow is melting. The grass is brown, last year’s leaves swirl in the wind. It may look like nothing is happening—but beneath the surface, the earth is preparing. The trees are resting. The ground is drinking in water. Quietly getting ready for what’s next.
It’s a gentle reminder: we, too, are allowed to slow down and prepare—not by doing more, but by resting, nourishing, and tending to ourselves.
So ask yourself: how are you preparing for your next season?
Are you giving yourself rest? Staying hydrated? Listening to what your body and mind truly need?
If drinking has become your daily comfort…If Friday feels like the finish line just to “earn” a glass…
Here’s a simple tool to check in: the HALT technique.
Ask yourself—Am I Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired?
These states can trigger the urge to drink. Meeting those needs directly can bring unexpected relief and clarity.
You’re not broken. You’re human—and just like the earth, you’re allowed to rest and reset.
Let’s gently prepare for the season ahead—together. 🌱
